The October issue of Geoconnexion features an article in which Mark Tabor, senior technical advisor for the Ordnance Survey–the national mapping agency of Great Britain–tells about the agency’s experience in migrating from analog aerial mapping technologies to a fully digital workflow at the heart of which is the UltraCamXp (his organization now owns two).
In the article, Mark talks about some of the challenges of going digital of the benefitswhich he summarizes as “reduced costs, quicker turnaround times, and improved and potential new products.”
